The Reign of Ryan Seacrest will continue, possibly forever. ABC has renewed Seacrest’s deal to host “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” for the forseeable future — the network didn’t specify the number of years. No name change for the iconic program; Seacrest started co-hosting with Clark (who died in 2012) back in 2005. (Variety)

After being hit with two lawsuits by former interns, magazine publisher Conde Nast is scrapping its internship program altogether, reports Women’s Wear Daily. The company — home to Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, etc. — was sued this summer by former interns at W and The New Yorker, who both claimed they were paid “less than $1 an hour.” (WWD; New York Times)

Turns out, Alec Baldwin’s not a fan of “Rock of Ages” — even though he was in the movie. Baldwin (who played the club owner) called the musical film “a complete disaster” during an interview at the American Magazine Media Conference in New York. (TheWrap)
