Good news from John Bohener? After a difficult few weeks in D.C., the speaker’s office announced Thursday that The Who’s Roger Daltrey will travel to Capitol Hill next Wednesday to perform as a tribute to Winston Churchill. That’s right — the English rocker is scheduled perform in front of Secretary of State John Kerry and other members of congress for a special ceremony that will dedicate a bust of the former British prime minister in National Statuary Hall. (Don’t worry, you can watch the spectacle online at Speaker.gov at 11 a.m.).

Quote from Boehner: “What better way to celebrate Winston Churchill’s friendship to the United States than to have one of Britain’s most legendary recording artists perform in the halls of the Capitol. Roger’s performance is sure to guarantee that the Churchill bust receives the first-class welcome it deserves.”
