Jimmy Fallon in D.C., makes a trip to Ben’s Chili Bowl

We already know Jimmy Fallon is a longtime fan of Michelle Obama’s healthy living initiative — and while in D.C., the late-night host took another cue from the First Lady.

“I’m loving @benschilibowl and because I’m in DC I had to get my exercise in for @FLOTUS,” Fallon tweeted Friday afternoon. Included: An Instagram video of Fallon doing push-ups in front of a cheering crowd outside of the U Street hotspot.

Fallon was in D.C. for a promotional visit to the local NBC station, WRC — he officially takes over “The Tonight Show” spot in February.
