Andrew Sullivan is moving back to D.C. The “Dish” political blogger, who left his base in Adams Morgan last year for Manhattan, is throwing in the towel. “I loved New York City with a passion until I tried to live here,” he wrote on the blog Friday. “It’s been over a year and I am horribly home-sick.” Sullivan said he misses his 1,500-square-foot apartment, his friends and the “increasing vibrancy” of what he dubs a “second Brooklyn” (does that mean even more hipsters?) and a global hub of media and politics. He’ll still be commuting to NYC for Dish business, but “I realize I’m married to Washington, and it’s best for me to think of New York as a mistress.”
