Bob Madigan, Elliot Segal leaving D.C.

Signing off: Two of Washington’s longtime radio fixtures are leaving town. DC101 WWDC morning personality Elliot Segal is picking up stakes and moving to New York to host “Elliot in the Morning” for a morning news station starting next month. (He’ll still be heard in D.C. and Richmond.) And after 50 years in radio (starting in high school) as a host, anchor, reporter and anything else you can do with a microphone, WTOP’s beloved “Man About Town” Bob Madigan is retiring and moving to Maine at the end of the year.
