Hey isn’t that… Retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor hosting a black-tie fete for about 80 of her closest friends at the Supreme Court on Friday. We’re told that the 83-year-old O’Connor, who traditionally hosts a pre-party to the annual Alfalfa club dinner, looked resplendent in a leopard print billowy blouse and satin pants.

After cocktails in the oak-paneled East Conference room guests headed over to the similarly decked-out West Conference room for a sit-down dinner. The soundtrack of the night was led by former congressman James Symington, who’s known to play the piano and sing a tune at an A-list party or two. Other marquee attendees included British ambassador Sir Peter John Westmacott, Dutch ambassador Rudolf Bekink, National Gallery of Art director Earl ‘Rusty” Powell and Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin.
