Ted Cruz wants to get one thing straight: He doesn’t smoke

We’re pretty sure Ted Cruz’s “Blacklisted & Loving It’ Tour” is not, in fact, an actual thing. But that didn’t stop an anonymous promoter slash provocateur from plastering posters of a shirtless and tattooed Cruz all over Los Angeles last week.

Smoking a cigarette and sporting a sly grin, the photoshopped image of Cruz began popping up at Hollywood hot spots like Viper Room and the Seventh Veil late Thursday according to Breitbart News.

In reality Cruz did make Southern California stop on Saturday to speak at the Claremont Institute’s annual Winston Churchill dinner on Saturday night at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. In a genius twist of self-promotion Cruz even tweeted a picture and response to the posters.
