In this week’s BOLO forecast, we’ve got a wintry mix of music, movie stars and activism hitting the area. On Tuesday, actresses America Ferrera and Rosario Dawson will be warming up the red carpet at the “Cesar Chavez” premiere at the Newseum.

In the upcoming biopic Dawson plays Dolores Huerta, co-founder along with Chavez of the National Farmworkers Association who was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012. Ferrera plays the labor activist’s wife, Helen Chavez.

Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie and her lovely lady lumps will be front and center at the State Department on Thursday. Fergie Ferg is a global ambassador for the Avon Foundation for Women which launches the Institute on Violence Against Women on Thursday.

“The Hills” star Whitney Port will bypass the actual Hill on Friday to host Blo Blow Dry Bar’s VIP preview party at the company’s new Dupont location. Now every intern with $40 can look like a million–or at least their hair can.

On Saturday, hang around Foggy Bottom for a spot of Bacon. Kevin and his big brother Michael, known as The Bacon Brothers, are performing at Stand for the Troops’ first annual benefit concert at George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium.

If you’re feeling stuffed from all the inevitable food jokes, work them off with former Super Middleweight Champion Laila Ali. She’ll be dolling out advice on how to bob and weave in the corporate ring called as the headliner the 6th Annual Get Radical Women’s Conference in Reston, Va on Saturday.
