“They’re very welcoming in Washington–the fools!”

–Armando Iannucci, creator of HBO’s “Veep,” during a panel discussion at the 2014 PaleyFest in Hollywood on Thursday night. According to Deadline Hollywood, Iannucci, who was joined on stage by actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus and the rest of the comedy’s cast, said he found plenty of Washingtonians more than willing to divulge this town’s special brand of quirks and foibles, from sleeping with a work phone beneath your pillow to the challenges of dating while ladder climbing. Selina, Gary, Dan and the rest of the gang return for the show’s third season on April 6th.
