Aaron Schock selfies from the audience at Academy of Country Music Awards

Hey, isn’t that… Rep. Aaron Schock among the country fans in the standing-room “pit” near the stage at last night’s televised Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas?

Though the  Illinois Republican seemed excited to take in the musical performances by the likes of George Strait and Tim McGraw, posting photos on Twitter and Instagram of his sweet vantage point, it wasn’t his first rodeo: Schock is a huge country-music fan and has attended the awards show several times before.

It’s been a good week for the devotee of songs about trucks and breakups  — he was also spotted among the crowd at last Wednesday’s Grammys on the Hill awards jamming to the country stylings of Lady Antebellum.
