Jenna Bush Hager can’t wait to get home. After a brief stop in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, the “Today” show correspondent will be racing back to Manhattan to open a special FedEx from her dad, former president George W. Bush.

“He just did a painting of my daughter for her first birthday,” Bush Hager told The Reliable Source. “I can’t wait to see that portrait.”

So Margaret Laura Hager (her friends call her “Mila”) is the latest big name to get the Bush treatment.

Last Friday on the “Today” show, Bush Hager sat down with her father, who has discovered a passion for painting, to chat about his new exhibit “The Art of Leadership: A President’s Personal Diplomacy” at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.

Talk about your big gets. Apparently, long time “Today” anchor Matt Lauer ribbed the former president’s daughter about scoring such a plum interview.

“Of course, he felt nervous about talking about it,” said Bush Hager, “a safe person to talk to would, of course, be his daughter.”

So will the entire Bush clan be sitting down for a family portrait painted by dear old dad anytime soon?

“I don’t think any of us would sit for that long,” said Bush Hager.
