Hey, isn’t that… Actor Kevin Spacey, dining on Tuesday night at French hotspot Le Diplomate?

Spacey, a spy says, sat with two friends and wore a disguise something like the one donned by his alter ego, the murderous, scheming Vice President Frank Underwood of Netflix’s “House of Cards”: a porkpie-style hat and dark-rimmed glasses.

Spacey, like the rest of the HoC cast and crew, is cooling his heels (and, apparently, eating frites) while the off-screen drama over the show’s production plays out. In the last moments of the Maryland legislative session, lawmakers refused to cough up the last $3.5 million to fully fund a film tax credit program and ensure the showrunners would get the millions they were seeking. Now, they’re looking to Gov. Martin O’Malley to find some extra dough to make it the up.

Filming had been pushed to June, so the HoC-ers still have at least a little more downtime to enjoy… .
