Started in January, the petition to deport the Biebs and revoke the formerly bang-sporting singer’s green card received more than 273,000 signatures–more than double the amount needed for an official executive branch response according to “We the People,” the online tool for petitioning the White House.
But response doesn’t mean action.
According to the rules, “the White House may decline to address certain procurement, law enforcement, adjudicatory, or similar matters properly within the jurisdiction of federal departments or agencies, federal courts, or state and local government in its response to a petition.”
Basically the buck has officially been passed.
