Kanye and Kim tie the knot
To prepare guests for the extravagance to come, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West threw a gala Friday at Versailles. Yeah, that Versailles. According to E! News, the “Yeezus” rapper organized a private tour of the French chateau and surprised his fiancee with a three-song performance by Lana del Rey and a seven-minute fireworks show.
Then, at a ceremony Saturday, the two exchanged vows and custom wedding bands at Forte di Belvedere in Florence. Kardashian, West and their daughter, North, all wore Givenchy, with Kardashian, 33, donning a custom long-sleeve lace gown. Andrea Bocelli sang as Kardashian and her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, walked down the aisle, E! News reports. The reception featured more than $100,000 in floral arrangements and a performance from John Legend. Also at the elaborate reception: West, 36, made a 20-minute speech, which included a line about Kardashian being “the ideal art.” Here’s hoping clips of that make it onto his next album.
The marriage is the first for West, and the third for Kardashian.
Christina Ricci, 34, is expecting her first child with husband, James Heerdegen, People reports. The couple met on the set of her former show “Pan Am,” where Heerdegen was a camera technician. They went public with their relationship in early 2012, announced their engagement a year later and wed in Manhattan last October.
Early Sunday morning, rapper Wiz Khalifa, 26, was arrested after a “green leafy substance” was found by a TSA agent at a Texas airport, Pitchfork reports. The “Black and Yellow” rapper, and husband to model Amber Rose, 30, was set to fly from El Paso to Dallas before being taken into custody and turned over to local police. Ironically, Khalifa was set to release his new single, “28 Grams,” but the release was delayed while he was in jail. “They’re tryna figure out how many grams I had,” he tweeted. “How ironic.” Then, he took a selfie.

Vergara, fiance split
Sofia Vergara, 41, took to her WhoSay page Saturday to announce her split with fiance Nick Loeb. “Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart,” she wrote. The “Modern Family” actress and Loeb got engaged in July 2012 and have fended off breakup reports in the past.
