Diane von Furstenberg: ‘So ridiculous’ to focus on Hillary Clinton’s style

Fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg has made her not-too-shabby living from women who care about what they’re wearing. But even the inventor of the iconic wrap dress thinks there’s a limit to our obsession with clothing.

Von Furstenberg, who last night presented an award to global women leaders at the Vital Voices, an organization co-founded by Hillary Clinton and on whose board she sits, had this to say about the media’s focus (those scrunchies! those pantsuits!) on Clinton’s wardrobe:
