Blush or bashful? Ask another bridezilla because a busy Katie Couric had no time to argue over a particular shade of pink. Between wrapping up her daytime talk show, starting a new gig as the global anchor of Yahoo News and releasing a new documentary, the veteran TV journalist left most of the planning of her June 21 wedding to fiance John Molner.

“I call John ‘Groomzilla!’,” Couric told People magazine. She even let Molner okay her wedding dress, an ivory Carmen Marc Valvo lace halter gown.

On Saturday, Couric wed Molner, an investment banker, in the back yard of her East Hampton home. The ceremony was an intimate family affair (only 50 guests) with readings from Molner’s children, Allie and Henry, and Couric’s daughters, Ellie and Carrie. Carrie, who recently graduated high school, even sang the couple a song.

“This is not my first rodeo,” explained Couric, 57, whose first husband, Jay Monahan, died of colon cancer, “so I didn’t want to go too crazy and neither did John.”
