Hey, isn’t that… Rep. Eric Cantor and the fam, dining in a prominent booth at downtown Italian eatery Carmine’s?

Seems the recently vanquished former House majority leader, who was ousted in a surprise GOP primary defeat for his Virginia seat, was in need of some comfort food judging by the platters of penne, veal, and chicken parm heaped on the table. But he’s apparently not hanging his head – we hear he requested the big booth in the window for the family dinner.

Interesting to note that the spot is informally known by the restaurant’s staff as the “Godfather Booth.” Should  Dave Brat, the guy who pulled off the win over an unsuspecting Cantor, be worried about horse heads in his bed?
