“It can be an annoyance, but it’s not the end of the world. You have to center on what its core thing is, which is that you met someone you fell in love with. It’s hard to explain.”

— Actor and D.C.-native Justin Theroux in a recent interview with Details on the tabloid frenzy caused by his two-year engagement to “America’s sweetheart,” actress Jennifer Aniston. He told the magazine he still doesn’t understand what the big deal is.

Theroux, who is starring in HBO’s Rapture-mystery “The Leftovers,” was introduced to the the former Mrs. Brad Pitt by their mutual pal, actor Robert Downey Jr., on the set of “Tropic Thunder” in 2007. The couple got reacquainted while filming the comedy “Wanderlust” and so far are living happily ever after.

“I think Justin’s dealt with it gracefully,” said actor John Krasinski, another Hollywood pal, about the paparazzi offensive. “The Office” star then added,  “he does get a great girl at the end.”
