Lettuce bikini-clad Courtney Stodden passes out veggie dogs on Capitol Hill

Celeb: Television personality Courtney Stodden, who shot to fame when she married 54-year-old actor Doug Hutchison when she was just 16. She has since become known for her racy attire (worn even on Capitol Hill) and appearances on VH1’s “Couples Therapy” and “Big Brother UK.”

Cause: In protest of National Hot Dog Day/Month, Stodden, a vegetarian, passed out free veggie dogs at a PETA-sponsored event on Capitol Hill.  Unlike most celebs who at least dust off their professional attire for a political rendezvous, Stodden showed up wearing a lettuce-inspired bikini at PETA’s request.
