Hey isn’t that…Bill Maher, comedian and host of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” patting himself on the back for a job well done on Friday night?

Fresh from his two-hour, one-two punch– a live taping of his political gab fest at Sidney Harman Hall, followed by a stand-up session at the Warner Theatre a few blocks away — Maher and co. celebrated his on-air sprint with an open bar Nopa Kitchen + Bar, natch.

Our tipster tells us that HBO picked up the tab for dinner, drinks and dessert, renting out the entire Penn Quarter restaurant for Maher and his bold-faced friends, including comedian Jerry Seinfeld, ESPN’s Keith Olbermann, filmmaker Michael Moore, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the New York Times’s Maureen Dowd and Grover Norquist.

The official after party for “Bill Maher: Live from D.C.,” kicked off at 8 p.m, says our source, and the party didn’t end until 3 a.m.
