Your average home-town homecoming parade just got a healthy dose of drool.

Sexy supermodel-turned-sexy movie star Tyson Beckford (remember those Ralph Lauren undie ads?) is slated to serve as the grand marshal at this year’s Howard University homecoming parade on Oct. 18. The university announced Beckford’s newest role Friday, the same day as the release of his new movie “Addicted,” based on Zane’s 2001 erotica novel.

“Howard University has always had a special place in my heart and I welcome the opportunity to continue this relationship for many years to come,” said Beckford in a statement.

No, Beckford isn’t a Bison. The New York native didn’t graduate from the esteemed university, but he is one in a long line of celebrities (usually alums) who head to D.C. in the fall for the school’s annual football game and glitzy ancillary activities.

Other celebs to be on the look out for next weekend? Actual HU alums actor Lance Gross and Olympian David Oliver.
