From Tumblr to T-shirt and soon-to-be a hallowed tome, The Notorious R.B.G. (pop culture’s version of 81-year-old Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg) will not rest until the whole world knows her meme.

But don’t expect the recently announced book, “Notorious R.B.G.: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg,” to be all funny headlines and fan drawings. HarperCollins described the book as “a short and lively biography” co-written by the Tumblr’s creator, NYU law student Shana Knizhnik, and MSNBC reporter Irin Carmon.

“They’ll do some deep digging,” explained Julia Cheiffetz, executive editor of the HarperCollins imprint Dey Street Books, which will publish the biography this fall. Cheiffetz, a feminist and big fan of Ginsburg (“I’m obsessed”) made sure to point out that the project is not a so-called “blog to book.”

So expect details on Ginsburg’s court life, a highlight reel of her pivotal opinions and fun facts about how many push-ups she can do (Hint: 20).

It’s still unclear whether Ginsburg can make time in her packed sched to have a sit-down with co-writers Knizhnik and Carmon. A request for comment was not immediately returned by the U.S. Supreme Court’s press office.

Cheiffetz said there was definitely room in the increasingly crowded publishing market for a book like this one.

“I just couldn’t believe that no one else had done it,”  Cheiffetz said.
