Hey isn’t that… the White House chief of staff and the president’s closet pal, Denis McDonough, running in Washington’s Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon on Saturday?

We’re told McDonough, 45, completed the half-marathon, about 13.1 miles, in a pretty good time of 1:48:18. The marathon, the only race that runs entirely through D.C., usually draws a few famous (for Washington) faces among its 25,000 participants. Last year, Adm. James Winnefeld, the vice chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, crossed the half-marathon finish line with a time of 2:6:17.
