Hey isn’t that… One of the Palm restaurant’s famous regulars, 81-year-old Larry King, dining under his caricature for lunch and dinner on Tuesday?

King’s face has adorned the yearbook-ish walls of the D.C. power spot for nearly four decades, and, when he visits, the table underneath Cartoon Larry King is ready. Our spy said that King pulled a doubleheader on Tuesday. Wearing his signature suspenders and black-rimmed glasses, King first stopped in for lunch and then came back a few hours later for a reunion dinner with his “old crew” in the back dining room.

We’re told there were a lot of hugs and camera flashes. King was in town for Wednesday’s sold-out appearance at the Newseum, “A Life in Broadcasting: A Conversation With Larry King.”
