Hey isn’t that . . . our new favorite Washington-official couple, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and singer Ciara, out at the Palm on Friday night?

A tipster tells us that Ciara and a few of her friends settled into the restaurant’s famous power booth (it’s in the back and away from prying iPhones) about 10 p.m. The singer, in town on her tour, was slated to hit the stage at the Filmore in Silver Spring on Saturday night. And after about an hour of gabbing with her girlfriends over crab cakes and rib eye, guess who showed up for dessert?

Richmond-native Wilson, says our source, made his grand entrance about 11 p.m. and Ciara was thoroughly surprised. These two crazy kids in love (or maybe deep like? After all, they’ve been public for only a few weeks) are steadily making the District their favorite date night city. First the White House and then the power-dining spot. What’s next?
