So very Washington: Two journalists got married Saturday. So not D.C.: Rock stars attended their wedding.

There’s good reason for the atypical guest list at the wedding of Bloomberg View columnist and CNN analyst Josh Rogin, 37, and ABC’s Ali Weinberg, 28 — the bride’s dad is Max Weinberg, the drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s band, so it’s just a family thing. The couple tied the knot in a ceremony at the historic Meridian House — a spot with special meaning, since they began dating soon after the then-pals attended the annual Meridian Ball there in 2013.

D.C. types like CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and ABC’s Jonathan Karl attended the wedding. And even though the musician presence was heavy — guests included The Boss himself, Steve Van Zandt and Nils Lofgren — it was Ali Weinberg’s own performance of Dusty Springfield’s “Son of a Preacher Man” that brought down the house, we’re told.
