They’re baaaack. Well almost.

Less than two weeks after Bravo announced its plan to renew the “Real Housewives of Potomac” for another round of butt grabbing and fake engagements, the six ladies from Potomac (and its environs) are already back in front of the cameras. Sources close to production confirmed that shooting for season two began on Monday and, as per Bravo orders, all the housewives are on press lockdown until filming wraps in about three or four months.

All six original housewives — Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson Jordan and Katie Rost — are returning for the second go-around with no additional castmates on the slate thus far. According to our tipster, “[Bravo] was really looking but couldn’t find anyone else to do it.” To clarify, there were plenty of reality show wannabes who lined up (even sent in applications we hear) for the show, but none fit the network’s bill — married (or divorced), connected, even if only tangentially, with a splash of drama potential.

“They’re stuck with who they were able to get,” continued our tipster. Ouch. But we doubt Bravo is boo-hooing about that. “RHOP” averaged 2.1 million viewers in its debut season, making it the biggest housewife hit since the “Beverly Hills” installation.
