For her final White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, Michelle Obama opted for a sexy yet elegant gold gown, featuring an embroidered neck and a sheer bedazzled cape-like overlay.

A publicist from KCD, who represents Givenchy, confirmed late last night that FLOTUS’ gown is a custom creation of the French design house, bearing many similarities to two other gowns from their Spring 2016 collection, which also featured embellished overlays.

The first lady ditched her go-to designers such as Jason Wu and Michael Kors in favor of the full-glam look. Perhaps Michelle was showing her support for pal Beyonce in light of the recent “Lemonade” scandal — the dress ever so slightly resembles the Givenchy number Queen B rocked at the Met Gala last May. Except a whole lot less naked.
