Hey, isn’t that … the odd couple of uber-DJ Moby and Sen. Cory Booker, grabbing some vegan grub at Mediterranean joint Shouk in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood on Wednesday night?

The hipster musician’s book signing at the Sixth and I Historic Synagogue turned into a meetup of a group we’ll just call the Friends of Kale — the New Jersey Dem (whose plant-heavy diet is an anomaly among his meat-loving colleagues) and Shouk owner Ran Nussbacher attended the signing for famous vegan Moby’s new memoir, “Porcelain.” Then they all went to Nussbacher’s just-opened restaurant, along with the author.

The eatery was supposed to be closed for the night, but for these grazing VIP guests, chef Dennis Friedman kept the doors open.
