Hey isn’t that … Vice President Joe Biden showing up to a dinner already in progress at Graffiato in Chinatown on Tuesday?

By the time Biden, looking all business in a light-colored suit, popped into the trendy Italian restaurant, Eric Schwerin, a founding partner at Rosemont Seneca Partners, and his guests had already sat down to eat. The veep joined Schwerin’s party for about 20 minutes, munching on a pork-packed pizza that the group had already ordered. We assume no one minded.

Rubberneckers at the surrounding tables were rewarded with photos of Uncle Joe who, our source said, was happy to oblige.

No word on whether this was a working dinner. Schwerin was a special adviser at the Commerce Department during the Clinton administration and was appointed to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad by President Obama in 2015.
