Hey isn’t that … Secretary of State John Kerry and his wife of 21 years, Teresa Heinz Kerry, having a low key (for Washington) night out last week?

The Kerrys were spotted at the Bombay Club, a Beltway-bigwig fave, about 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The pair had an uninterrupted dinner and then headed for the door, according to our source. No word on what was on the table during their two-hour meal, but we assume the impending sale of their $25 million Nantucket retreat was Topic A.

The one-on-one time was probably a welcome respite for the secretary, who’s lately been racking up even more frequent-flier miles than usual. Kerry was in Beijing and Abu Dhabi early last week and is currently on his way to the Dominican Republic, Norway, Denmark and Greenland.
