Hey isn’t that … Cory Booker, the junior senator from New Jersey, and Kirsten Gillibrand, the junior senator from New York, and Kamala D. Harris, the freshman senator from California, grabbing dinner in Penn Quarter on Wednesday night?

Fresh from the contentious debate over Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), who was confirmed as attorney general, Booker, Harris and Gillibrand — each considered a national rising star in the Democratic Party — could have been consoling one another or plotting for 2020.

Our tipster said the trio arrived at Rasika, the well known modern Indian restaurant and power spot, around 7:30 and huddled at their table for the next two hours undisturbed by the crowd, although the clique of cool “kids” (Booker is 47; Harris, 52; and Gillibrand, 50) was clearly recognized.
