Beyoncé might be a favorite target for some Republicans, but there’s one GOP congressman ready to get in formation: Rep. Darrell Issa revealed that he’s a member of the Beyhive.

The California rep picked Queen B’s 2008 hit “Single Ladies” as a jam he likes for a special episode of SiriusXM’s “The Press Pool” with Julie Mason, in which members of Congress talked about their musical influences and what’s on heavy rotation in their own playlists.

“It’s talking about, ‘put a ring on the finger — don’t fall for the guy unless he’s willing to fall for you fully,’ ” he says. “It tells a story — it’s a modern story, but it’s a story that to be honest, Motown could have told a generation ago and actually did.”

He’s not into all of Beyoncé’s oeuvre, he notes, but “I like a lot of it — she’s got a great voice.”
