This year’s Easter Egg Roll at the White House will apparently be a smaller, less splashy affair than in years past.
Sad trombones — maybe literally.
But it turns out that the Easter-best-clad attendees have some ear candy to go with those sugary confections (and Sousa marches): pop-rock boy band Bro4 is slated to perform three sets on the White House lawn.
Haven’t heard of them? Okay, so they’re slightly lower-profile than the musical acts booked in past years, but the bros (they really are four brothers, from New Jersey) are enthusiastic about the gig. Unlike some musical groups that have turned down invitations to perform from the Trump White House, Bro4 members — whose sound is described as “The Beatles meets One Direction with a twist of Electronic Dance Funk” — said in a statement that they took the job to “show their support for the First Lady’s pledge to help end cyberbullying.”
