Hey, isn’t that … the queen of all media, Oprah Winfrey, dining Wednesday night at celeb-haunt Fiola Mare in Georgetown?
Winfrey had just come from a screening of her upcoming HBO movie, based on the best-selling book “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,” at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and appeared to be with HBO execs and members of the movie crew. Goddaughter (and former White House staffer) Kirby Bumpus, the daughter of Gayle King, joined the party later in the meal.
Winfrey, who stars as the title character’s daughter, “looked great,” a spy says, in a white dress, towering heels and eyeglasses, her hair pulled into a sleek ponytail.
Maybe it’s a post-vacation glow? Winfrey was reportedly spotted last weekend on vacation with pals former president Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
