No word yet on who’ll be appearing onstage with comedian Samantha Bee at her counterprogramming to the annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, a comedy special she announced in January.

But some big names are lining up to attend — among those you’ll see guffawing (probably) in the audience are comic Keegan-Michael Key, actor and former White House staffer Kal Penn, feminist icon Gloria Steinem, actress/writer Rachel Bloom, “Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi, “Veep” actor Matt Walsh, “Leftovers” creator Damon Lindelof, the E Street Band’s Max Weinberg, and comics including Retta, Jordan Carlos, Janelle James and Jessica Williams, per the latest guest list circulating.

Demand for the invite-only seats was so high, organizers moved the event, whose proceeds go to the Committee to Protect Journalists, from the Willard Hotel to DAR Constitution Hall. The celeb quotient stands in contrast with that of the real WHCD, happening across town at the Washington Hilton, which President Trump and his staff are snubbing this year — and that hasn’t attracted the usual Hollywood crowd, either.

Meanwhile, Bee released a video teaser to promote the show, which will air on TBS on April 29. “We’re hosting a party to toast the free press — while we still have one,” jokes the outspoken Trump critic.
