Details about comic Samantha Bee’s “Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner” on Saturday night are being kept close to the tuxedo’ed vest. But the host of “Full Frontal” on TBS is promising that the event, which will air later that night as a taped special episode of her comedy show, will start off with a “bang.”

Oooh, do tell.

Who will be in the audience for Samantha Bee’s “Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner?”

“We’re not revealing that Vladimir Putin is going to be there,” Bee said in an interview with “Girls” creator Lena Dunham for the Hollywood Reporter.

Okay, so the former KGBer-turned-strongman isn’t headlining. Bee wasn’t detailing much beyond that — but she did reveal what will happen in the presumably less-dramatic portions of the show. “We want to highlight the work that … lesser-known news outlets and some old newspapers, local newspapers do because it feeds us,” she tells Dunham. “We are parasitic. We take from them and make a show.”
