New White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci’s wife has filed for divorce, according to the New York Post.

The paper, citing multiple sources, reported Friday that Deirdre Ball, 38, is giving the Mooch — with whom she has two children — the ax after three years of marriage. Apparently, Ball is not quite as sold on the Washington political lifestyle as Scaramucci, 53.

“She liked the nice Wall Street life and their home on Long Island, not the insane world of D.C.,” an unnamed individual told the tabloid.

Another anonymous person claims clashing loyalties toward the commander in chief caused tension. Ball has been less than enthused about Scaramucci’s ascent in the ranks of Donald Trump’s White House. “Deidre is not a fan of Trump,” the person said.

Scaramucci, who was photographed sans ring at the White House Friday, tweeted apparent references to the divorce. “Leave civilians out of this,” he posted on Friday. “I can take the hits, but I would ask that you would put my family in your thoughts and prayers & nothing more.”

Then on Saturday, another combative note: “Family does not need to be drawn into this,” he wrote. “Soon we will learn who in the media has class and who doesn’t. No further comments on this.”
