Well, this . . . isn’t surprising at all.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), the Internet-appointed heroine of the resistance and “Auntie” to all Never Trumpers, led a rousing “Impeach 45!” chant while on stage at the glitzy Glamour Women of the Year Awards in New York on Monday night.

After being called “fearless” in an introduction by “Spider-Man: Homecoming” actress Zendaya, Waters thanked the magazine for honoring women, including the evening’s awardees: actress Nicole Kidman, singer Solange Knowles, late-night host Samantha Bee, model Gigi Hadid, “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins and fashion designer Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The congresswoman then launched into a four-minute speech encouraging the smart millennials in the room (especially the ones up in the cheap seats) to get involved in politics, concluding her time in the spotlight by throwing her signature high-level shade at President Trump without mentioning him specifically.

“I want you to do everything you can to get ready to run for office,” Waters said.

“This is your time. So I’m claiming my time, and I want you to claim your time,” she added, using a variant of what has become her political catchphrase.

“You recognize when a leader is dangerous,” she continued. “Even if that leader is the president of the United States of America.”

For her big finish, Waters told the crowd at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre that some have advised her not to “jeopardize” herself by calling for Trump’s impeachment, as she has repeatedly over the past several months, but Waters remained resolute.

“I continue to say, ‘Impeach him! Impeach him! Impeach him,'” she chanted from the stage. And the audience went wild, joining in on the call as Waters continued to shout into the microphone: “Impeach 45! I didn’t hear you. Impeach 45!”
