The comedian at the White House correspondents’ dinner always pokes fun at the president. But normally they wait until the actual dinner to do so.

Michelle Wolf got a head start during an appearance Monday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” The stand-up comic said she was initially relieved to learn President Trump wouldn’t attend the event again this year, because it would save her from bearing witness to his eating habits during the dinner portion.

“You know he doesn’t chew with his mouth closed,” Wolf joked. “He’s probably like a real smacky eater and like a mouth-breather at the same time.”

After Wolf admitted she prefers to make fun of people to their faces, Kimmel emboldened her to dare the president to attend. “If he does show up, it would be real fun,” Wolf mused, before presenting Trump with a high-stakes invitation.

“I dare you, you poor little man,” she said. “I’ll give you $5 if you come.” She later upped the ante, raising the offer to $10.
