The United States qualified for the Under-20 World Cup with a 4-2 victory over Canada in the CONCACAF quarterfinals in Mexico. Three goals in 17 minutes overturned an early deficit.

The Americans punched their ticket to Turkey this summer for their 13th appearance in the U-20 world tournament. Cuba qualified for the first time, upsetting Costa Rica, 2-1. In tonight’s matches, Mexico faces Jamaica and Panama plays El Salvador.

Others to qualify so far: Australia, Iraq, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay and host Turkey. Africa and Oceania will conduct their tournaments in March.
