D.C. United vs. Sporting Kansas City

D.C. United carries a club-record seven-game losing streak into Sunday’s MLS match against Sporting Kansas City at RFK Stadium.

United has not won in 70 days after going 0-for-April.

Will the fortunes change today? Chris Pontius should return in some capacity and Nick DeLeon is nearing full fitness. Meantime, Sporting is without two suspended starters: center back Aurelien Collin and central midfielder Oriol Rosell.

In the first meeting, April 5 in Kansas, United was moments from sneaking off with a point with a giveaway deep in its end led to Claudio Bieler‘s goal.

Kickoff: 5 p.m. ET.

TV: Comcast SportsNet (DC), Univision Deportes.

Referee: Jair Marrufo.

DCU: Hamid; Korb, White, Jakovic, Woolard; Porter, Kitchen, DeLeon, Kemp; De Rosario, Townsend. Subs: Willis, Shanosky, Ruiz, Riley, McDonald, Pontius, Pajoy.

SKC: Nielsen; Jerome, Opara, Besler, Sinovic; Joseph, Nagamura, Feilhaber; Zusi, Bieler, Peterson. Subs: Kronberg, Olum, Sapong, Kamara, Lopez, Myers, Gardner.
