D.C. United’s Indonesia tour roster

D.C. United’s 20-man roster for a week-long tour and two friendlies in Indonesia includes six players from the Richmond Kickers, the MLS club’s third-division affiliates:

GOALKEEPERS: Joe Willis, Andrew Dykstra.

DEFENDERS: Taylor Kemp, Ethan White, Conor Shanosky, Chris Korb, Shane Johnson*, Henry Kalungi*, Alex Lee*.

MIDFIELDERS: Luis Silva, Collin Martin, Lewis Neal, Jared Jeffrey, Kyle Porter, Shay Spitz*, Michael Callahan*, Luke Vercollone*.

FORWARDS: Michael Seaton, Casey Townsend, Conor Doyle.

*Kickers players

In addition to the six Richmond additions, six DCU players spent time with the Kickers in the USL-Pro circuit last season: Dykstra, Kemp, Shanosky, Martin, Seaton and Townsend.

Absences: James Riley, Dennis Iapichino, Dejan Jakovic, John Thorrington, Chris Pontius, Nick DeLeon, Daniel Woolard, Perry Kitchen, Sainey Nyassi, Bill Hamid.

Pontius and Woolard are recovering from surgery. DeLeon and Kitchen are preparing for respective weddings. Hamid was recently training with West Brom in England.

United will play Persib Bandung on Friday and Arema FC on Sunday.
