Snow removal for College Cup

After a pair of modest snow events swept up the East Coast, PPL Park crews have been kept busy clearing the field ahead of this weekend’s College Cup semifinals and final. Officials expect the surface to be ready by Wednesday afternoon. Notre Dame faces New Mexico on Friday at 5 p.m., followed by Maryland and Virginia at 7:30. The forecast calls for clear but cold conditions Friday and warmer temperatures but with a chance of precipitation before Sunday’s 3 p.m. final.
