In the first of two friendlies with Russia, the U.S. women’s national team cruised to a 7-0 victory Saturday at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Fla. The Americans, top-ranked by FIFA, extended their unbeaten streak to 41 and home unbeaten run to 79. They are 6-0-1 all-time against 21st-ranked Russia, which last qualified for the Women’s World Cup in 2003. The shot totals were 32-3, corner kicks 13-2. [Match details]
