Reminder: United is off next weekend. The scheduled match at Los Angeles was moved to Aug. 27 to accommodate the Galaxy’s CONCACAF Champions League schedule (quarterfinal second leg with Tijuana is March 18).

DCU has hired Amos Magee to coach the under-23 squad, replacing Jaime Moreno, who is seeking other opportunities. Magee, 42, guided the Minnesota Thunder and U.S. Maccabi squad, and served as an assistant for the Portland Timbers, overseeing the reserve team.
