In today’s match preview, I examine United’s on-going scoring problems.

TV: NBC Sports Network. Coverage begins at 4 p.m., kickoff around 4:20.

Announcers: John Strong, Robbie Mustoe, Russ Thaler.

Radio: WJFK 106.7 FM The Fan.

Referee: Jair Marrufo.

Game-time forecast from the Capital Weather Gang

United injury report: Chris Pontius (hamstring), Chris Korb (knee), Jalen Robinson (hamstring) and Conor Shanosky (wrist) are out.

Before kickoff, there will be a moment of silence for former local star and DCU player Shawn Kuykendall.

The last word on the Davy Arnaud-Michael Bradley collision last week comes from Arnaud, who was cleared to play today: “I didn’t know he was coming in – it took me by surprise. When you look at the play on tape, I didn’t think he was going to win the ball, but Michael plays the game hard. If he sees a chance to win the ball, he is going to go for it. I don’t think there was any maliciousness to it.”

On a personal note, I am headed to Ohio today to join family after the my mother-in-law passed away last night.
