Joe Biden, Amy Poehler reunite on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ after ‘Parks and Recreation’

Vice President Joe Biden and Amy Poehler: Late night guests, pals — and co-stars, remember? Biden made a cameo appearance on “Parks and Recreation” last year to the delight of Poehler’s character, Leslie Knope, who started hyperventilating when she met her hero. (Knope’s ideal man does have the brains of George Clooney and the body of Joe Biden, after all.)

Anyway, they reunited on Seth Meyers’ first episode of “Late Night” on Monday, where Poheler jokingly tried to sit on Biden’s lap.

“Natural chemistry between you two!” Meyers observed. The duo then shared that, naturally, their next project is called “Snakes on a Train,” in which Biden plays the conductor.

Biden also spilled that while filming “Parks and Rec,” it was improvised when Poehler turned to Biden’s Secret Service man and said menacingly, “You take care of him.”

Here are both Biden-Poehler collaborations:

"If there was an NRA for finger guns, you would be president," the newly-minted host of "Late Night" told Vice President Biden. (NowThis News)
