Friday’s Maryland Madness to air on CSN

Maryland has announced that Friday’s Maryland Madness will air live on Comcast SportsNet Plus starting at 7:30, with an encore presentation on Comcast SportsNet at 9 p.m.

The event, which will center on introductions of the Maryland men’s and women’s basketball teams and scrimmages, will also feature the unveiling of new Under Armour uniforms and a student dunk contest judged by former Maryland athletes Torrey Smith, LaQuan Williams,  Josh Wilson, Walt Williams, Juan Dixon and Dave Neal.

CSN’s Rob Carlin will lead the coverage, joined by former Terp Christy Winters Scott and radio analyst Chris Knoche.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Friday and admission is free. No tickets are required and seating is first-come, first-served.
