Stefon Diggs unleashes passionate Twitter speech in wake of Terps’ latest injury

Stefon Diggs said a bunch of stuff (Toni L. Sandys/The WashingtonPost)

For those needing a pick-me-up given the recently released news that Terps quarterback Caleb Rowe suffered a season-ending injury, the fourth such injury to a Maryland quarterback this season, true freshman wide receiver Stefon Diggs penned a passionate Twitter speech on his account, @StefonDiggss.

Diggs’s impact on the field is obvious. He’s Maryland’s leading receiver, most dynamic player and biggest offensive threat. Yet coaches and teammates alike have raved all season about the Good Counsel product’s leadership qualities, which will come even more to the forefront as the Terps move into November without a scholarship quarterback.

Maybe it already has. Diggs’s full speech is embedded below.
